Giving

For over 25 years, parents, grandparents, alumni and friends have supported Vail Christian High School’s culture of philanthropy - from giving financially, to playing an active role in our school through service. A long-standing community of Saints with a shared passion for one purpose: to provide students with the best education possible, guided by the teachings of Jesus. It has been our goal since 1998.

Gifts of Time, Talent...

Vail Christian High School is grateful for those who are able to volunteer on campus or on the field or court. From Parent Association to Theater volunteering, our families come together. No role is too big or too small.

& Treasure

Like most independent schools, tuition income does not fully fund the true cost of educating each child at Vail Christian High School. Rather, it is supplemented by charitable gifts to the All Saints Fund. Thanks to friends like you, Saints go further than they ever imagined. Every financial gift expresses a commitment to Vail Christian High School’s long standing goal: providing the best education possible. By investing in VCHS, you can be sure your gift will make a lasting difference in the lives of our students. Every gift, any amount donated to the All Saints Fund supports Academics, Arts, Athletics, Facilities, and Faculty.

A Legacy of Support for Vail Christian High School:

What if you could make a lasting and permanent gift . . . one that was bigger than you ever dreamed possible? And what if you could do it in a way that honored and protected your loved one’s inheritance at the same time? If you would like to include VCHS in your future giving and estate plans and create this kind of legacy, join the Vail Christian High School Legacy Society. Your gift will help sustain the mission of equipping mind, body, and spirit for lives of purpose, service, and leadership of future generations.

The VCHS Endowment

The Vail Christian High School (VCHS) Endowment is a fund created to ensure the future sustainability of VCHS. Gifts to this fund are invested and held in trust by the Board of Directors. A gift to VCHS ensures that the Biblically grounded and academically excellent education provided remains accessible for many years to come.

The Pastor Dan Rohlwing Endowed Scholarship

The Pastor Dan Rohlwing Endowed Scholarship is given to a rising freshman who demonstrates a commitment to the three VCHS values: faith, excellence, and service. It was established in 2022 through the generous financial gifts of family and friends. We honor and remember Pastor Dan Rohlwing as one of our VCHS founders and great supporters. He was a pastor in the Vail Valley area for over 36 years at Gracious Savior Lutheran Church in Edwards and Grace Fellowship in Gypsum. He had a love for Christian Education and studying God’s word. He was instrumental in the foundation of the school and in crafting our values of faith, excellence, and service. Pastor Dan Rohlwing and his wife Kathy have 4 children and a growing family of 11+ grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The Vail Valley Bridge Club Scholarship Fund

For 10 years, the Vail Valley Bridge Club has been hosted at Vail Christian High School. The Bridge Club Scholarship Fund was established to help students with scholarship support, allowing needy students from a variety of backgrounds to attend many notable colleges across the country. Many of these students are the first generation in their family to attend college. Each bridge club donation will be matched dollar for dollar.

Tuition Angel Fund

As a Tuition Angel, you directly support VCHS students and provide hope and opportunity. Over 50% of our students receive sliding-scale tuition assistance and your gift ensures that one of these students can receive a strong Christian education to prepare them for college and place them on a trajectory to lead lives of ‘purpose, service, and leadership.’

VCHS is deeply committed to finding ways for eligible students, regardless of family circumstances, to call our school home. While some students are preparing to become the first college graduates in their families, all Vail Christian High School students are immersed in a school culture that values faith and character.

All Saints Fund

When you make a gift to the All Saints Fund, you make a difference, ensuring we continue to flourish and provide an innovative and visionary education for every VCHS Saint.

Tuition and fees do not cover the annual cost of educating our students. Like most private schools, we rely on the All Saints Fund to bridge the 8% gap between tuition/fee income and the actual cost of an exceptional VCHS education.

The All Saints Fund – our annual giving campaign – supports the current school year and benefits every student and faculty member–bolstering VCHS’s excellence in all areas: academics, the arts, athletics, spiritual life, faculty development, and more. Your generosity makes ‘extraordinary’ possible.
