VCHS Alumni Spotlight – Quinn Strauch '18

Going "All In": Quinn Strauch '18 Builds a Career Through Opportunity and Initiative

For Quinn Strauch ('18), success has been built on curiosity, hard work, and the willingness to embrace new challenges.

After graduating from Vail Christian High School in 2018, Quinn attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where he earned a degree in Operations Management from the Leeds School of Business in 2023. Looking back, he credits VCHS with preparing him well for the academic rigor of college.

"The level of academics at VCHS definitely prepared me for CU Boulder," Quinn says. "Just as important was the sense of community. VCHS felt like a family, and everyone genuinely supported one another."

Following graduation, Quinn spent several months traveling through South America before launching his career in commercial real estate. He joined 23 Realty Advisors, where he advanced from research assistant to retail investment sales broker and, eventually, to national investment sales broker. Over more than five years with the firm, he developed expertise in investment sales, specializing in net-lease retail and industrial properties throughout the country while building lasting relationships throughout the industry.

A project in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 2024 became a defining moment in Quinn's career. After purchasing an older warehouse and flipping it to a local nonprofit that needed more space for their operation, he discovered a passion for industrial real estate. The experience inspired him to launch Arcmera, a commercial real estate brokerage based in Cincinnati, Ohio, specializing exclusively in industrial investment properties throughout the South and Midwest.

As Managing Partner, Quinn focuses on industrial investment sales, underwriting, valuation strategy, off-market acquisitions, and sourcing replacement properties for 1031 exchanges. By combining market expertise with strategic negotiation, he helps clients navigate complex transactions and uncover opportunities that are often unavailable through traditional listings. Quinn also partners with Coastland Partners, a California-based investment group, to identify off-market industrial properties to acquire across the region.

Today, Quinn calls Cincinnati home, a city strategically located within one of the nation's largest logistics corridors. From there, he serves key industrial markets including Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville, Indianapolis, and Nashville. Along for the journey is his eight-year-old cat, Hedwig Lamar, affectionately known as "Heddy," who has traveled across the country with him. Cincinnati also brought an unexpected personal blessing when Quinn met his girlfriend, Kat, during a yoga class.

Reflecting on his journey, Quinn believes the relationships he has built have been just as valuable as his professional accomplishments. Whether traveling abroad, launching a business, or expanding into new markets, each experience has reinforced the importance of stepping outside his comfort zone and embracing new possibilities.

His advice to current VCHS students reflects that philosophy:

"Time goes so quickly. Go all in. Don't be afraid to fail. Failure only makes you stronger. You never know who you're going to meet who will change your life."
